Toddler run over by 4WD in Ranau

Ranau: A two-year-old was allegedly run over by a woman 4X4 driver, Wednesday.Ranau Police Chief, DSP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah told the media that police are investigating the claim by a relative of the boy who claimed to have seen a vehicle driving away from where the victim was found. He said the incident happened at about 1.15pm Wednesday in Kg Delik, near Lohan.

"There was no witness to the incident, but a lady who was related to the victim said she saw a 4x4 Isuzu DMax driven by a 26 year woman, pass by the area before noticing that the victim was lying by the road. Investigation done on the victim found that he suffered light injury to the left arm, injury to the head and back bone. He died at the scene.
