Adrian takes Montfort title

Kota Kinabalu: Adrian Alang, and 18-handicapper, clinched the overall nett title in the 12th Montfort Charity Golf Tournament held at the Sabah Golf and Country Club, Saturday. He won on count back over second place winner Chai Nam Khian after both returned with the score of 42 with John Ericson in third place with 41.Adrian received cash voucher of RM800 and the winning trophy from Chairman of Montfort Youth Training Centre, Tan Sri Bernard Dompok while Chai and John each received RM700 and RM600 respectively.ADVERTISEMENT The A-Medal category was won by last year's runner-up Puney Kiob (38) followed by Charles Wong (36) and Hoo Lik Tee (33) while the top three places in the B-Medal were Andrew Yap (40), Datuk Joannes Solidau (37OCB ) and Richard Chua (37).Kenny Yong Haw Ngen with 41 was the winner in the C-Medal category while second place went to Alvin Chong (39) with Heng Kok Keong (38) in third, and in the senior category, the winner was Jusli Potoh (40 OCB), Christopher Liaw (40) in second and Alan Loke (38) in third.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
