W Cup final fever in UMS

Kota Kinabalu: SOME of the 2,000 football fans who turned up to watch the 2018 World Cup final between France and Croatia on a big screen TV staged at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) stadium on Sunday night. The programme jointly organised by UMS, RTM Sabah and Sepanggar P171 Parliamentary office saw various events held before the final including a friendly match between Sabah 80's legends led by current Rhinos coach Jelius Ating and a combined team of players from UMS, RTM and Sepanggar P171 Parliamentary office.

The Guest of Honour was Assistant Youth and Sports Minister Arunamsin Taib representing Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and Sepanggar Member of Parliament Dato Aziz Jaman was represented by his Confidential Secretary Zakaria Damit.
