Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Youth Cup team are urged to go for full points in their group A encounter with PKNS at the Penampang Stadium this afternoon starting at 4.15pm.Assistant team manager Lokman Sunggim said the players with home ground advantage should take the game to the opponents.

"We need to win the match with the support of our fans to get all three points. The players are in high spirit at the moment following the big wins in their previous two matches.

"We respect PKNS and they are a very good team but I am sure the payers will want to maintain their winning momentum and to avenge the first round 2-0 defeat by them tomorrow," he said.

Meanwhile, the team will be without defender Mohd Syamil Igbal who has been recalled by the President Cup squad for their match against Selangor on Monday.

"Almost all the players are available for selection aside from Syamil Igbal who is wanted by the President Cup team as well as Andrew Beckham Jamry who is injured.

"But I believe coach Aiyman (Johny) can find the best available replacement for Iqbal and Andrew and work out the right strategy to get all three points for the team." – GL Oh
