Man found hanged in Ranau house

Ranau: The body of a local man was found hanging at an unnumbered house in Kg Niasan Ranau, here, at about 9.45am, Wednesday. It was learnt that Gaven Ed Loan, 33, had returned to his grandmother's house the night before the incident and did not show any unusual behaviour.The next morning, one of the victim's family members tried to wake him up from sleep but received no response from the victim's bedroom.

The relative then peeked through the victim's bedroom window and found him hanging inside.District Police Chief DSP Mohd Farhan Lee said police were informed of the incident and went there to investigate."The body was found lying in a stiff condition, clad in a black t-shirt and black pants in the middle of the room. "Examinations found a strangulation mark on the victim's neck and a white nylon strap still tied to his neck.
