Kuala Lumpur: A district police chief in Sabah will be transferred out soon, following allegations that he sexually harassed six of his men and a member of the People's Volunteer Corps (Rela).Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, who confirmed the matter, said police received complaints relating to the allegations through various channels."I think there is some truth regarding the allegation. We are taking action on that officer.

I can assure you action will be taken as soon as possible."We received reports from various channels...through police reports and poison-pen letters," he said.
He said that among those who were allegedly harassed included police personnel and members of the public.Local news portals reported that the senior police officer had allegedly sent lewd text messages to his victims and invited them to a hotel room on the pretext of having discussions.
