'Reset' stand-up comedy tour stops at Labuan on Sept 14

Labuan: The Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) is back for their ninth show with a brand new stand-up comedy for this year's tour.This will be the third time around that the duty-free island is made a stop for the association's tour since their sold-out debut in Kuala Lumpur in 2010.The two-hour show will be held at the Rusty Blade Bar, Red Onion, here, on Sept 14.

Entitled "Reset", the show is a nod to the current political climate of Malaysia after the 14th General Election in May.Members of the MACC who will be taking the mic for the show are Douglas Lim, Kuah Jenhan, Phoon Chi Ho and Dr Jason Leong.Individually, they are some of the most recognised names in the local stand-up comedy scene, as they have performed solo both locally and abroad to critical acclaim.Once a year, they band together and perform.

The MACC is promising 85 minutes of brand new comedy material.Audiences can expect comedic observations, anecdotes, song parodies and unique insights from these four accomplished performers.

Besides Labuan, the comedians will also tour Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Johor and possibly Singapore this year.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
