Weightlifters bank on their ladies to deliver gold

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is banking on women athletes to achieve the three-gold target in weightlifting at the 19th Sukma Games in Perak which will begin today (Friday) at the Merdeka Hall at Tapah District Council, Batang Padang.Team manager Bell Yasoi is confident Elly Cassandra Engelbert (53kg), Marceeta Marylyn Marcus (58kg) and Caroline Joachim (90kg) are able to win gold in their respective categories."Our target is at least three gold medals from our athletes. Elly, Marceeta and Caroline are our best bet to achieve that. Elly and Marceeta are both based in Bukit Jalil while Caroline is based in Tambunan.
