Mahathir's assurance to the Kadazans

Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir has assured that Kadazans, being one of the founding partners in the formation of Malaysia, will not be left behind in the new Malaysia being moulded under his leadership. Kadazan Society Sabah President, Datuk Marcel Leiking, said this was conveyed to KSS recently when its Executive Committee paid a courtesy call on the PM at the Perdana Leadership Foundation in Putrajaya, in conjunction with the 55th anniversary of the formation of Malaysia on Sept. 16, 1963.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Marcel said Dr Mahathir was briefed on the vision and mission of KSS which are based on the hopes and aspirations of the founding father and Kadazan Huguan Siou, the late Donald Stephens (Tun Fuad Stephens) who was one of the signatories of the Malaysia Agreement.
