Improve crime solving rate, Tawau cops told

Tawau: District Police Chief, ACP Fadil Marsus urged his personnel to maintain or improve the crime solving rate of 70pc and prosecution (16pc) recorded in first nine months."We are reaching year end and hope we can maintain the crime index in Tawau, especially in solving cases and prosecution… keep it up," he said after witnessing the handing over of duties of Head for District Crime Prevention and Community Safety (KBPJKK) at IPD Tawau, Wednesday.Acting KBPJKK, ASP Mail Sundongi handed over duties to its new chief, DSP Nasir @ Atan Muslen, 43, who hailed from Tuaran. Mail was acting as KBPJKK since Aug 3 following the retirement of DSP Wan Kim Guan.
