Rosmah still being questioned by MACC

PUTRAJAYA: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, at press time, was still being questioned by Malaysian Anti-Corruption officers at the graft busters' headquarters here – more then nine hours after she turned up there.The 66-year-old wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak arrived at 9.50am dressed in a green baju kurung and accompanied by a team of lawyers led by Datuk K. Kumaraendran.The lawyers representing her left about 4.15pm for a break and, till press time, had yet to return to the MACC building.ADVERTISEMENT MACC personnel remained tight-lipped over what the Pekan MP's wife was being quizzed on or whether she would be detained overnight.This is the second round of questioning Rosmah has faced.On June 5, she was summoned to give her statements to the MACC.However, she was never charged with any offence.ADVERTISEMENT Only Najib has been charged in relation to the probe into SRC International, a former subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd.On Monday, MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Shukri Abdull was quoted as saying that the investigations on Rosmah had been completed and the report had been submitted to the Attorney-General.

He said it was up to the AG to prosecute Rosmah.None of Rosmah's family members accompanied her to the MACC today.However, Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam and former Langkawi Umno member Anina Saddudin turned up later.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
