Cops committed to ensure KK is safe
Kota Kinabalu: Police reiterated that the force is committed in ensuring that Sabah, particularly Kota Kinabalu, is a safe and suitable location for tourists.City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji said in collaboration with the Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry, the police will work resiliently to project an image to make sure the city gives tourists the confidence.

"We (police) hope to guarantee the safety of Kota Kinabalu where the security of the city will give a positive image as a beautiful and suitable place for tourism," he told reporters after his official visit to Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew, here, Thursday.

Habibi also said police will ensure that there will be ready to solve any crimes involving tourists.

He said the visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the ministry and cops to ensure that the tourism industry in the city will grow smoothly. - Jeremy S Zabala
