Man electrocuted while putting up banners
Kota Kinabalu: A 22-year-old man died of electrocution while two others were injured after falling onto wires while putting up banners, here, Wednesday.The victims, Azhar Alih, 22, Ladykinda, 20, and Yasirarafat Morphy, 24, were on a ladder trying to put up a banner in front of a furniture outlet in the city.

They somehow fell and landed on some wires, killing Azhar. The other two, including a woman, were injured.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department Operations Chief Khatizah Rahaban said two of them fell unconscious while another remained conscious following the fall at about 2pm. She said the victims were taken to the hospital following the incident.

"Azhar was pronounced dead at the hospital," said Khatizah.
