Kuching: Small and medium enterprises (SME) and micro enterprises in Sarawak's tourism sector need to embrace digital technology as a platform to promote their products.Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Board of Directors member Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Abang Openg said they should utilise the recently launched online platforms for industry players, namely the Tourism Arrival Performance System (Taps) and Tourism B2B.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

"For example, Kuching is recognised as the 'City of Unity' and that is a product in itself, and industry stakeholders can maximise business opportunities through online platforms such as Taps and TourismB2B," he told reporters after launching the Showcasing Tourism Products Sarawak event here on Thursday.

The showcase features new and unique tourist attractions, including the Jong's Crocodile Farm, the Semenggoh Nature Reserve, Sarawak Natural History Museum, Sarawak Cultural Village, Kek Lapis or layered cake factory, Satok Market, Kuching Waterfront, Food Trail, the Floating Mosque and Tua Pek Kong Temple. – Bernama
