"This programme is so meaningful not only for club members but also for people in Ranau and Kundasang. From the historical point of view we can see the region showing many women entrepreneurs especially in the tamu and stalls. "This shows that these women have a distinctive role in driving our economy. Therefore, it is very appropriate we value the women today who are the economic heart of this area," he said.Jonathan who is also the Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board said, such programme will also become the most suitable platform for local female entrepreneurs who have been successful to share their experience with other club members."I am positive that the Kusick and Kusair's aspirations to empower women are reasonable and can succeed with proper and organised work. As leader here, I will continue to support all community development activities in this area," he said.
