Sabah PAM study tour in P'pines

Kota Kinabalu: PAM Sabah Chapter has just returned from a very successful study tour on Spanish Architecture cum fellowship golf in Manila, Philippines from Nov 21-25.The objectives of the study tour were to promote fellowship with the architects of the United Architects of Philippines (UAP) and the learning of the Spanish Architecture, in addition to providing an opportunity for golfers to enjoy some of the famous golf courses in Manila and shopping for non-golfers.A total of 16 architects and PAM's invitees joined this study tour, led by Ar. Victor Wong, the Chairman of the PAM Fellowship Organising Committee and Ar. George Chong, the Organising Chairman of the tour.

While there they attended a talk on how Bricks can be made from recycled garbage materials for construction purpose and the search for a "Filipino Architecture" if there is indeed such an identity focusing on the works of two National Artist for Architecture.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
