3 families homeless in Padas fire

BEAUFORT: Three families were made homeless after four houses at Padas Valley, here, went up in flames, Tuesday evening. Beaufort Fire and Rescue Department Chief Mohammad Hasbollah Nenggok said two fire engines and an emergency medical rescue vehicle were dispatched to the scene in the 8.20pm incident.
They arrived at the scene at 8.30pm and found the fire at its peak.

There was no loss of life.
Mohammad Hasbollah said the department believed short circuit was to blame for the mishap but investigation is still ongoing while loss is being estimated.
Mohammad Nuthiyah admitted the fire started from his home.
