Kota Kinabalu: A Luyang homeowner has voiced her displeasure about the poor service she received from Pos Malaysia Bhd recently.
She claimed a letter from England, which was mailed towards the end of November, only reached her in mid-January.

The individual provided Hotline with the relevant information, including the date on which the item was mailed and her home address. This information was forwarded to the firm.
A Pos Malaysia spokeswoman said the relevant section would be alerted to this problem.
“The postman concerned will be queried as part of our investigation into this matter,” she said.
“We will have to verify the resident’s claims before proceeding with further action.”

Rena of Luyang said the letter contained a book from her daughter in London.
“The item was sent out via ordinary mail on November 25,” she said.

“My daughter checked with the postal authorities in London on and off for a month,” she said.
“They maintained that the item was dispatched to Malaysia.”
She said she had enquired at the nearest post office several times, but the staff seemed to be in the dark as to whereabouts of the letter.
“They could only tell me to be patient. I found this difficult accept after a while.
