2019 ‘Year of Integration’: Feng Shui master
PETALING JAYA: 2019, which is the year of the Boar in the Chinese zodiac, is dubbed as the “Year of Integration,” according to a feng shui master.

Kenny Hoo (pic), from “Good Feng Shui Geomantic Research,” said based on the annual “Ba Zi” chart and “Gua” analysis, the new lunar year represents the culmination of tasks, companies and individuals to achieve a “Win-Win-Win” situation.

He said the element of Earth is the most favourable element of the year as it plays the most influential role as a mediator to integrate all the positive and supportive “Qi” (energy).

The five elements in Feng Shui Astrology are Fire, Wood, Metal, Water and Earth.

“‘Earth promotes a positive impact on various aspects of life, including business, career, health, relationship and wealth, despite uncertainties.

“Besides Earth, Wood would also be the most auspicious element, with businesses in agriculture, accounting, education, technology, property, medical, palm oil, and rubber sectors gaining prominence,” he said during a Chinese New Year lunch, organised by AkzoNobel, here.

He said there would be a positive development and life experiences in 2019 for those born in the years of the Rat, Horse, Dragon, Monkey and Tiger.

However, he warned those with the Chinese zodiac sign of Snake, Rooster, Ox, Boar, and Goat to be more cautious and conservative in all undertakings.

“They are advised to avoid making major decisions in February, May, June, August and December so that they can also expect a smooth journey throughout the year,” he said.

Hoo said there would be smoother paths in the second half of the year in the business and career for the Boar, while the Goat zodiac would travel more frequently, but caution should be exercised in July and January 2020.

“Both the Boar and Goat persons must be extra careful in heavy investment and health. However, they could renovate or enhance their living and working spaces to mitigate the challenges and trigger positive “Qi.”

“The Rabbit will have good advancements in their wealth, career and business this year, however, they must be beware of potential argument with others,” he added.

He said 2019 would be a suitable year for the Snake, Rooster and Ox to acquire new skill sets, explore new fields, renovate or enhance their living and working spaces.

“They will be able to travel more, with new opportunities awaiting them on their travels, but attention should be given towards their health and food intake while travelling,” he added.

Hoo said the Tiger will be supported by many of their noble friends and new partnership opportunities, while the Horse will experience better wealth and career, alongside better health, love and relationships compared to previous years.

“The Dog will have lots of good news as well. However, they must take care of their health, especially in April, June and October, thus dental scaling, blood test or blood donation are recommended,” he said.

For those born in the Dragon year, they may face some minor health-related issues, but there will be lots of lucky and problem-solving stars in 2019, so they can learn or explore new skills or fields.

“Overall for the Monkey, Rat and Dragon, it is a good year to plan for new business ventures, marriage or having babies.

“For the Rat persons, everything looks great in terms of career, business and wealth aspects as the general noble stars will accompany them to provide good support for others in 2019,” he said.
