KOTA KINABALU: Team Solid from Sabah Sports Board clinched the Keningau Cup Open Triples Lawn Bowls title after beating Aninipot 14-8 in the final at the Keningau Sports Complex, Sunday.
The trio comprising of Affendy Abdullah, Hafiz Firdaus and Owanlee Junaidah took home RM1,500 while the runners-up team members of Abi Afiq Ahmad, Nizam Atoh and Shuib Hashim shared among themselves RM1,000.

In joint third place were BS Kgu Veteran and MDK A with each receiving RM500.

Sixteen teams took part in the two-day competition jointly organised by Keningau District Lawn Bowls Association and Sabah Lawn Bowls Association (SLBA).
The closing ceremony was attended by SLBA deputy president Shuib Hashim who also presented the prizes. Also present was Keningau Lawn Bowls Association president and organising chairman Joakim Manggata. – GL Oh
