Keningau: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has urged the government to expedite the process of transferring services to the districts new hospital from the old one.
Its president Datuk Joseph Pairin Kitingan said this was to enable better services for the people, particularly those in the Interior.
Pairin who is Tambunan Assemblyman said this after visiting and presenting Chinese New Year goodies to patients at the new hospital here last Wednesday, organised by the new Board of Visitors.
According to the hospital director Dr Francis Paul, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the transition process was scheduled to be completed by April.
Among those in the visit were members of the Visitors Board, namely, Datuk Sairin Karno, Jack Chan, Koh Kian Ling and Ho Chiew Fui.
