Tawau: Newly-appointed Tawau Municipal Council President Haji Salsidu Haji Ibrahim has assured several innovations to improve public services.In this respect, he hoped the staff would work with him towards achieving the goals, and not just for him.

He said this after taking over from retiring Council President Datuk Hartith Mohd Yahya, Tuesday. Harith served two years and two months as TMC President.

Earlier, Harith disclosed that the TMC would commence its electronic service (e-service) next year.

Under the first phase in January, the public could apply for licence fees and view complaints online through the Council's webside http://www.mpt. sabah.gov.my/e-perkhidmatan.
