Kota Kinabalu: A suspected transvestite in his 20s was found dead with injuries along an alley beside Likas Square building in Likas, early Tuesday.
The deceased, only known as 'Fedra', was spotted lying face up in a pool of blood by a resident of the apartment building who was driving out from there before 6.30am. He had tyre marks on his body.
The resident alerted the security guard who informed the receptionists on duty to call the police. He was clad in a red long-sleeved T-shirt, black bra and black pants.
City Police Chief ACP Ahmad Sofi Zakaria, who was also there together with the police and forensic teams, believed Fedra was a visitor/outsider because his name was not on the residence's name list.
Investigations are continuing and hoped those with information would come forward. Police have so far brought in one man to assist in the investigations.
