Putra Jaya: Bioteam Spa and Beauty Sdn Bhd, a fully Bumiputera owned and Malay traditions based beauty chain Tuesday opened its "Bioteam Spa and Beauty" centre at the Putrajaya Perdana Building in Precint 16, here.Its managing director, Datin Faridah Mohamad said treatments at the spa involved 100 percent herbal extracts researched and developed by the company itself.

"Our products have not only gone through the process of high quality control but their purity is also assured as we belief that is beauty is not only skin deep but starts from within.

"Therefore, the spa treatments we offer our clients not include techniques for maintaining physical beauty but also the daily care that have to be followed and the diets to be observed," Faridah told Bernama when met at the centre Thursday.

The Raja Perempuan Kelantan Tengku Anis Tengku Abdul Hamid officially launched the beauty centre on Monday which had started operations earlier this month.

Faridah said the centre offered several packages including skin care, slimming and wedding packages among others.

She said the centre was also offering a promotional slimming package until June for less than RM1,000.

The Bioteam Spa and Beauty centre also offers several packages for men, Faridah said, adding that men these days were also more conscious of their physical appearance.

To ensure that the quality of treatment remains high, the centre takes in a limited number of clients a day, she said.

Apart from its new centre in Putrajaya, the company has also opened up branches in various other states including in Kelantan.

"We are planning to open up more branches in the future including in Sabah and Sarawak by end of this year," she said. - Bernama
