Kuala Lumpur: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Thursday Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de factor leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's assertion that several Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament in Sabah were just waiting for the right time to cross over to the Pakatan Rakyat was mere political games by him."He can claim anything he wants. It is all part of his political games," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

He said he did not expect more Barisan Nasional (BN) members to follow in the footsteps of former Gerakan Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Lee Kah Choon and cross over to the opposition.

He said all BN members had been asked to remain loyal to the coalition as it had done a lot for them.

"The BN also gave them victory in the recent general election. They must place full confidence that their future will be brighter with the BN," he said when asked to comment about Lee quitting Gerakan to take up offers from the Pakatan Rakyat government in Penang.

Lee, who had resigned from all his leadership posts in Gerakan earlier, on Wednesday quit the party completely to head the Penang Development Corporation and Invest-Penang Berhad, two State-owned enterprises.

Najib said it was unfortunate Lee took such a decision but it was the BN's policy that its members should not work for the opposition.-Bernama
