Kota Kinabalu: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's claim that he will be the country's next Prime Minister in three years shows he is power greedy, said Kinabatangan MP Datuk Bung Moktar Radin. He also said Anwar's claim that there are BN MPs who are ready to switch camps is a political gimmick meant to confuse the people."There is no truth to his (Anwar) claimsÉwe in the BN are a dignified lot. ADVERTISEMENT Why should we switch camps when the people have already given BN the mandate to form the government?" he said during a press conference at his office, here, Thursday. He said what Anwar is doing is not only a gimmick but also provocation in an attempt to weaken the BN government and described the opposition alliance or Pakatan Rakyat (People's Alliance), which includes PKR, DAP and PAS, as a "marriage of convenience" that will fail.He said the level of cooperation between the three parties was unproven unlike that of the BN component parties.Bung said the BN Backbenchers' Club, of which he is Deputy Chairman, would travel the country to meet the people and explain to them not to be taken by Anwar's gimmicks.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
