Tawau: An Indonesian woman claimed she was raped several times by two men in van last Saturday. However, police managed to arrest the suspects within 72 hours with public help. The woman, who had wanted to go to church, waved down the van near her home about 7.30pm at Mile 2, Jalan Apas, to go to the church at Mile 2Ã."She stopped the van, which she thought was a private bus and found the two men inside, including the driver. She told them she wanted to go the church," said Acting District Police Chief, Supt Haji Ramli Ali Mat. ADVERTISEMENT While on the way, one of the men took out a knife and pointed it at her neck, demanding she surrender her belongings, adding she gave her two gold rings to the man. After that, the suspect pointed the knife at her waist, telling her to take off her pants, before pushing her back and molested her. He said the woman told the driver to stop the van after realising they were heading to Jalan Sin Onn instead of Mile 2Ã, but the driver refused and threatened the woman, saying kalau mau selamat, ikut saja (if you want to be safe just do as we tell). Ramli said the suspects brought the woman to a cocoa plantation, where they molested and took turns raping her, each suspect twice.
