Elderly man found dead in Tenom

Tenom: A local Javanese was found dead on Monday about 50 meters near the Padas Riverbank in Kg Paal Seberang.
Saiman Karto Ekumuru, 79, was discovered around 11.43am by a family member Mahadi Mahali, 45, who subsequently lodged a police report.
Acting District Chief ASP Syed Lot Syed Abdul Rahman confirmed the incident and said the body had been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. Ruling out foul play, he said the deceased's death might have to do with "old age".
