Ex-Sabah Indian Congress chief dies

Kota Kinabalu: Former Sabah Indian Congress President and boxer Datuk Udham Singh Maan passed away Wednesday at the Sabah Medical Centre (SMC) after a long battle with kidney cancer.
Udham, 77, was warded at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Palliative Care Unit in April this year and later transferred to the SMC.
The funeral services will be held today (Friday) at the Fook Lu Siew Funeral Parlour at 10am and prayers thereafter at the Gudwara Sahib Kota Kinabalu (Sikh Temple) at Jalan Mat Salleh.
