Labuan: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Youth wants the party to be considered in the appointment of members of the Labuan Corporation Advisory Council for the 2010-2011 term.
Its Chief, Ambrose James, said since PBS extended its wings to Labuan 16 years ago it has never failed to contribute and cooperate with the local government and BN.
As among the biggest component parties here and in line with the Barisan Nasional's (BN) power sharing and spirit of consensus, he said it was only apt that PBS be considered in the appointment of the advisory council members.
"The PBS is also of the opinion that track record and strength of a party must be given due consideration in this matter," he said.
