Bursa reclassified 9 listed firms

Kuala Lumpur: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has decided to update the classification of sectors for nine public listed companies (PLCs) effective May 17.

The stock numbers and stock short names for the nine PLCs remain unchanged, the exchange said in a statement Monday.

The nine companies are Minetech Resources Bhd (from trading/services to industrial products), Widetech (Malaysia) Bhd (from consumer products to trading/services), Fima Corporation Bhd (from properties to industrial products), Narra Industries Bhd (from industrial products from consumer products), Advance Synergy Bhd (from industrial products to trading/services), Pjbumi Bhd (from industrial products to trading/services), Lee Swee Kiat Group Bhd (from industrial products to consumer products), Oceancash Pacific Bhd (from industrial products to consumer products) and Opcom Holdings Bhd (from industrial products to technology).
