Boy loses hand to grinder

Kota Kinabalu: A 14-year-old employee of an eatery chain below the former Stamford College premises lost his right hand to a meat grinder, Thursday.The local victim known as Amrin was grinding meat at the eatery when his hand was sucked into the grinder. The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 8.23pm.Firemen tried to open the grinder and free the boy's hand but gave up 10 minutes later and called the ambulance.
