Teacher is fined for punching headmaster

Alor Setar: A teacher was on Wednesday fined RM2,000 in default four months' jail by a Magistrate's Court for punching the headmaster of a school where he had taught, four years ago.Norazman Abdul Wahab, 41, who was found guilty of committing the offence, paid the fine.He was charged with voluntarily causing hurt by punching 52-year-old Halim Saad's face and kicking his thighs at the office of Sekolah Kebangsaan Gerigis, Jalan Langgar, Alor Setar on Dec 20, 2006 at 8.35am.
