Kota Kinabalu: Associates of Sutera Harbour Resort have once again pledged their commitment to participate in the 11th Sutera Harbour 7K Sunset Charity Run which will be held at the Sutera Harbour Marina and Country Club on July 16.

One of Sabah's biggest annual charity events, the 7K Run is a fun, community-based fundraiser which attracted more than 11,000 participants last year.

Its route begins at the Covered Tennis Court of Sutera Harbour Marina and Country Club, where runners will run towards the Magellan Sutera Resort before turning back towards the Coastal Highway.

The Run will then continue towards Wawasan Plaza, which is the last checkpoint before heading back to the starting point.

Unlike other runs, there are no prizes for the 'winner' but all runners who complete the 7km route within 77 minutes is entitled to win one of the many exciting lucky draws at the much anticipated post-Run concert.

There will be many food and beverage stalls selling a myriad of thirst quenchers and savoury food items.

Net proceeds from the sales will be channelled to the 7K Run beneficiaries.

To complement the evening is the special performances by local artistes.

Registration fees are RM25 per adult and RM15 per child/students, inclusive of a fun event T-shirt and Adidas voucher worth RM20 courtesy of Grace One.

The beneficiaries of this year's Charity Run are Special Olympics Sabah and the Sabah Thalassaemia Society, non-profit organisations located in Kota Kinabalu.

Entry forms are available at Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf & Country Club, The Pacific Sutera Hotel and The Magellan Sutera Resort.

The form can also be downloaded via www.suteraharbour.com.
