style="text-transform: uppercase;">Kota Kinabalu: A three-month youth oriented 'Connections to Success' programme will be organised by the Sabah Women's Action Resource Group (Sawo) beginning Feb. 11.It is aimed at getting youths and young adults to actively explore their career interest and integrating volunteerism into their daily lives alongside those careers.

It will be directed by a Fulbright scholar, Kathy Nguyen, from the United States and currently a Sawo intern.

"It's essential for the youth of today to actively explore and pursue their career interests, and not just wait for things to happen," said Nguyen.

"In my experience, I have learned that meeting people, asking questions, and being actively involved in society opens up doors that you wouldn't have known existed," she added.
