Papar: A motel here was robbed of RM260 cash and four handphones by two men at the old township here at 1.30am on Monday.Confirming the report, DSP George Abdul Rakman said police have identified the two suspects based on a closed circuit television camera installed at the ground floor of the motel.

He said they stole the cash and the handphones at the receptionist counter before fleeing the motel.

He called on the public who have information on the case to contact Inspector Che Rosly, here, at 088-912222.

Meanwhile, George has disclosed that the district police here registered a drop in crime cases last year with 183 cases reported, compared to 219 cases in 2010.

He said 40.98 per cent of the cases reported last year were solved, compared to 40.18 per cent in 2010.
