Kuala Lumpur: AkzoNobel, the world's largest paints and coatings company, has once again proved that its brands are trusted household names in Malaysia.In the recently concluded Reader's Digest Award 2012, Dulux - a notable paint brand under AkzoNobel, took home the Gold award in the paint category, making it its seventh consecutive win in Malaysia.
Polled by 8,000 consumers across eight markets and covering over 40 categories in each market, the Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Award is a seal of approval by consumers and a vote of trust and confidence by consumers in the brand, the company said in a statement.
The accolades awarded to Dulux from the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands Award since 2006 is a further testament to consumers' confidence in the Dulux brand in Malaysia, and reinforces its market-leading position in the country.
"Being recognised as a leading Malaysian paint brand at the prestigious Reader's Digest Award is certainly an achievement for Dulux.

The awards seek to identify which brands consumers in Asia trust and provides an objective and reliable reference for consumers throughout the region.
With strong presence and positioning in Malaysia, the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands is one of the many proud achievements for AkzoNobel.
