Kota Kinabalu: Several negative remarks about Sabah posted on Facebook recently have prompted a Sabahan woman to lodge a police report on the matter."The insults on Sabah keep coming one after another and the last straw for me was seeing a post by a student believed to be from Peninsular Malaysia who is currently studying here posting insults about Sabahans," Rozza Rothman said here.

She said if such insults are left to continue it would sooner or later disturb the peace and harmony among the multiracial Malaysians.

"I am not a politician, I am just a patriot and as a citizen of Malaysia, particularly Sabah, I think it is our responsibility to prevent these insults from continuing.

"We don't have to wait for people on top to take action because action has to start with us," she said, adding that she lodged her police report here on Aug 9.

Rozza also provided a list of insults found posted on Facebook among labelling Sabah as a dirty State which is under developed and uncivilised with its people still living on trees.
