P'pine beauty wins Miss Tourism title

Miss Tourism International 2011, Malaysia's Aileen Gabriella Robinson, 23, handed over the crown to the 22-year-old Philippine beauty.
Gomez received a scholarship worth RM100,000 from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, cash prize of RM10,000, a jewellery set and other prizes from sponsors.
Present at the event was Deputy Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Maglin Dennis D'Cruz.
It is a platform to promote tourism for the host country and at the same time promote peace, goodwill, and friendship among participating countries.
