Woman with IMM13 status found dead in hotel

Tawau: A 20-year-old woman with IMM13 status was found sprawled on the toilet floor of a budget hotel along Jalan Wing Lok near a community hall, here, Saturday.Housekeeping staff found the body with blood oozing from her mouth at 11.50am. Hotel staff Nasib Jamal Salleh, 33, and his colleague, Eric June Pangatongan, 24, knocked on the door that was not locked and entered to clean up the room.However, they were surprised to see a fully clothed woman lying inside the toilet and alerted the police.

Eric said the woman checked into the room alone at about 11.10am on Friday in a confused state. The woman had refused her particulars to be recorded and insisted that she rent a room on the second floor.District Police Chief here, ACP Awang Besar Dullah, who confirmed the incident, said the deceased was identified as Siti Nur Aishah Nuldin whose address was at Kg Hidayat here.Initial investigations found no element of foul play.
