Kuala Lumpur: It was a lucky day for three Malaysians who shared the name 'Khalid'. Two of them, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and former Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin took oath Tuesday morning as Selangor Menteri Besar and Johor Menteri Besar, respectively.

Whereas the third Khalid, former Deputy Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar was appointed as the new IGP effective this Friday.

Abdul Khalid was sworn in for a second term before the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Alam Shah, Klang.
