RM80,000 for families of fallen heroes
Kota Kinabalu: PETRONAS on Sunday presented RM80,000 to four families of fallen heroes during Operation Daulat to rid Sulu terrorists in the east coast of Sabah, in March. Petronas Senior General Manager Datuk Mohammad Medan Abdullah (second from left) said the contribution was part of the RM200,000 donation by Petronas recently.

"Petronas has always been concerned with efforts to maintain peace in the country.

"Sabah is among the states which is significant to Petronas and we share the regret and sadness of the bloodshed that occurred in Lahad Datu and Semporna," he said at a ceremony to present the contributions to the families of the fallen heroes, in Kota Kinabalu.

Also present was State Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Tan Kok Liang.
