Kota Marudu: The opposition's lie during the 13th General Election campaign that the gazetting of the Tun Mustapha Marine Park will include 6km of non-coastal land, including in Matunggong, has failed to influence voters in the coastal areas.Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili noted that instead, "the voters were not taken up by the rubbish concocted by the opposition to confuse the people," and gave the Barisan Nasional increased majority in the areas.The Kota Marudu Member of Parliament said this when opening the Marudu Bay Carnival here, Saturday.
