Kunak: 24-YEAR-OLD Christine Michael (seated) from Kg Sabahan was crowned Kunak Unduk Ngadau in the the district-level pageant held in conjunction with the Harvest Festival. A Kadazan, Christine, is now working as a teacher in a private childcare centre in Tawau.

Second place was won by Emelda Joseph, 20, from Kampung Ulu Madai, and third was Eadith V.Majawai, 19, from Kg Kadazan.

Officiating at the ceremony, Assistant Minister of Rural Development and Kunak Assemblyman, Datuk Nilwan Kabang, urged the entire community to continue to foster the spirit of unity to ensure peace and harmony.
