Kota Kinabalu: A MAN who went to the Centre Point Shopping Complex in Kota Kinabalu to grab a quick lunch was dismayed when he spotted rat droppings in the fried noodles he had bought at one of the food outlets in the premises in Kota Kinabalu, Friday.

He subsequently took his packed lunch and went straight to the City Hall's Health Department to lodge a complaint.

City Hall Public Health Section Head, Danny Kok, said offenders can face a closure order under the Public Health Ordinance 1960 and another compound of RM500 under the Food and Eating Premises By-Law 1966.
