Traffic lights near Tuaran hospital

Tuaran: Traffic lights will soon be installed at the main road heading towards the District Hospital, said District Officer Ibnu Haji Abdul Kadir Baba.

He said this is to make it convenient for patients who came to the district hospital to cross the road safely.

Ibnu also said that he was proud of the concern shown by the hospital staff on holistic treatment through therapeutic garden for patients.

He was officiating the Aedes Free Facility Seminar and Gotong Royong at the Therapeutic Garden organised by the Public Health Unit and the committee of Hospital Tuaran Therapeutic Garden.

There were about 100 hospital staff who participated in the gotong royong which focused on the therapeutic gardens, main gate and the areas of the staff quarters.

District Hospital Director, Dr G. Mohan said that the hospital had been a role model in running the awareness campaign on Aedes Free Facility to educate the people about Aedes mosquitoes in spreading dengue.
