Duo escape unscathed in crashes

Kota Kinabalu: A man in his 20s escaped unscathed when the Myvi vehicle he was travelling in crashed into a bus stop along Jalan Sulaman, here, Thursday.

It was learnt that the man was heading towards the city centre from Sepanggar when he lost control of his vehicle.

The impact caused the vehicle to skid and swerve before slamming into the bus stop about 5.50am.

In a separate incident, a man in his 50s also escaped unhurt when the Mitsubishi Triton he was travelling in crashed into an electricity post near the Fook Lu Siew funeral parlour, here, Tuesday.

It was learnt that the man was heading towards Kingfisher from the city centre when he lost control of the vehicle.

The impact caused his vehicle to turn three times before crashing into the post in the 9.05pm incident.
