BIM receives RM10,000 boost

Kota Kinabalu: The 7th Borneo International Marathon (BIM) has been granted RM10,000 by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support the event, which will be held next month.According to Kinabalu Running Club President, Dr Heng Aik Cheng, the organising committee together with the Running Club greatly appreciates the support shown by the Ministry.

"BIM can be another platform to discover the potential of young athletic talents in Sabah and we are more than happy to work with the Ministry for that," he said after paying a courtesy visit to State Youth and Sports Minister, Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan.
