Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Cebagoo FC slipped to a second consecutive FAM League defeat at the Penampang Stadium on Wednesday after a 1-0 loss to Pahang Kuantan FA.Costly misses denied the team the opportunity to bounce back from their previous 1-0 defeat to Melaka.A fluke goal in the 47th minute by Kuantan FA's Kamal Rodiazat from a free kick that bounced off the defensive wall and into the net was the only goal of the match that sealed Cebagoo FC's fate.

It was a bitter pill to swallow for the team as they were the better side especially in the first half and skipper Razlan Joey should have scored two but instead he missed the target.Cebagoo started the match without top scorer Jufrey Omopor but his replacement Roy Rompingon was equal to the task as his nippy runs created several chances for fellow teammates. However, his contribution did not go unnoticed by the opponents. He was fouled a number of times and subsequently limped off just before half time due to the rough treatment.
