Honda CRV turns turtle

Kota Kinabalu: A Honda CRV turned turtle at the road divider of a fly-over when its 30-year-old driver lost control of the wheel near the RTM old building at Karamunsing, here, Sunday.

The man, who was heading from the city to Likas, rammed a lamppost before the vehicle overturned in the 4.30am mishap.

The impact caused the driver to sustain injuries and he was sent to the hospital for treatment.

Sergeant Mallianus was at the scene to investigate.

Meanwhile, in another mishap, a 25-year-old man who left his Perodua Kelisa on a left lane heading to the fly-over at Tanjung Aru to check out a road mishap on Sunday, caused another mishap to occur involving a motorcycle.

The Kelisa driver left his car by switching on its double signals before walking towards the other mishap on the other side of the road.

On returning he could not start his Kelisa and while alighting from the car, a 35-year-old man on a motorcycle crashed into the rear of his Kelisa in the 6.10am incident. He sustained light injuries.

Sergeant Ugzhali was at the scene to investigate.

The mishap on the other side of the road involved a Myvi that ended up in a drain next to the Aeropod project near the Railway station.
